Loc Events
A team app for finding something to do in the Netherlands. Ticketmaster
events and events we created ourselves show up in one feed, so people can
search, filter, open an event page, save it, or mark Going. Signed-in users
also get reminders and updates when a night changes. I built the Spring Boot
event APIs on PostgreSQL with plain SQL: list and detail, search, filters,
sorting, and pagination. I also added similar events, comments, and the
notification inbox, including scheduled jobs for reminders and an outbox so
cancel and update requests do not wait on fan-out.

Photos start private. You upload one, it sits in Cloudflare R2, and a queue asks Gemini what is in it so you can search later by tags and colors. Share links run out on purpose. If tagging fails twice I stop pretending and mark it failed.

Ticket Tracking System
Tickets live on projects and people get assigned to them. I wrote the SQL myself instead of hiding it in JPA, mostly so I could see what the database was actually doing. When a ticket changes, mail goes out in the background. The request does not wait for Resend to have a good day.
